Truman Lake, Choke Canyon Reservoir and Belton Lake are the annual host locations for “Fishing for Freedom”, tournaments that pair local fishermen with wounded Soldiers, for a day of tournament bass fishing on an awesome fishery, especially for them. Both events are heavily supported, and only made possible through the generosity of sponsors, such as; local businesses, volunteers, and caring local and regional anglers. Fishing For Freedom is just one of the ways the ArmyBassAnglers team lives up to the SUPPORT pillar in its three pronged mission statement.
